Normal Propyl Alcohol (NPA), also known as N-propanol, Normal Propyl Alcohol (NPA) is a colorless liquid, boiling point 97.2 ℃, density 0.80g/cm3, can be mutually soluble with alcohol, ether and many organic solvents. It reacts with hydrogen halide to produce halide, esterification reaction, amination reaction, oxidation reaction and so on.
Usage
n-Propanol is the main raw material for the production of n-Propyl Acetate, a green food printing ink, and is also the main raw material for the pesticide raw materials n-Propylamine, Di-n-Propylamine, the cleaning agent Bromopropane, and Ethylene Glycol Monopropyl Ether. n-Propanol itself is also an excellent solvent, can be used as a special solvent for aniline printing ink, especially for polyolefin and polyamide film printing. It can also be used as a solvent for cellulose carboxymethylation, cellulose acetate gelling agent and plasticizer. n-Propanol is also an important pharmaceutical intermediates, can be used as the production of erythromycin, probenecid, sodium valproate, epilepsy, adhesive hemostatic agent BCA, propylthiothiamine, 2.5-pyridinedicarboxylic acid dipropyl ester and other pharmaceutical raw materials.

Storage
n-Propanol is volatile and flammable at room temperature, storage and transportation should be airtight, avoiding sources of ignition, low temperature preservation.
